I believe that the Labour-led government is still in utter shock. Not to say about The Honourable Mr Rama Valayden, Attorney-General and Minister of Justice and of Human Rights who is still cringed in what what I call ‘legum suprimus judgia killus attornus generae post traumatic reflexion’…(yeah, it’s all shit but the subject is excitingly cool!!!). Perhaps he never envisaged that ‘his’ Supreme Court would ever cross fingers or arms or pan-balance (hmm…?) on him! Him? Me? The Attorney-General of the Labour government!!!???

It’s all going to be a now a historical stuff.  This is indeed a landmark in the legal history or politics of any country in the world. The ruling, pronounced by Judge Paul Lam Shang Leen, guns the attorney-general, rendering him guilty of diffamation against Deputy-Leader and former Minister Jayen Cuttaree.

Not to commend Pravind’s extra-unordinary, shameless  and detailed  vocabulary about his political counterparts though and certainly not to encourage thinkers (or speakers) of the same school (or TRUST) but specially to have a good laugh at the veritable nature of snakes, with or without moustaches…. Find www.snakecartoons.com

Actually it’s a ‘still under construction’ site but you can find crazy, funny and cool cartoons all and about snakes… Certainly, it’s worth a ride, oops, I mean, a look or laugh!!? But this bookmark is specially dedicated to Pravind who’ll find maybe some serious ideas for his next poster campaigns…

Other sites that’ll maybe tempt the team at SUN TRUST….

The Love Stories…Extended

September 20, 2006

This article is only the nth episode of the historical family drama entitled ‘The Love Stories’. Yeah, I know that I haven’t really written the other previous episodes but I really promise to do so! So please, for the time being, just pretend to understand what I’m writing…

Polos?          So nth episode of ‘The Love Stories’

A small recap before… In the previous episodes, we’ve seen an amorous timidity in the voracity of public declarations between Pravind and Paul while Uncle Ashok continued his relentless and ‘love’ (or power) blind crusade against Poor Navin

Now we’ve just witnessed the scientific evaluation and confirmation of Sir Winston Churchill’s one of his few woes of sagacity: “A week is a long time in politics…” It was not even a week later than Pravind’s outspoken, out-written and out-thought (I don’t know if that exists) remarkable and overqualified biography of Paul was lastly serialised that Paul acknowledged a sheer courtesy from Pravind’s part. Paul even commented the latest rave reviews from the ‘people’ press about Pravind’s newest and ever-growing vocabulary that “its going to be only a matter of time that our loves will discover spring again and the lovebirds will sing and dance again…” Yeah, so cute and all that is okay but the pick is that nobody except Paul and Pravind really understood what the latter tacitly said! Actually this was what was reported in the press and believe me, what Pravind extrovertly decided that “…Paul is a snake with moustaches..” and few days later after Pravind rectified his fiery and distinctively over-artistic vocabulary by admitting that Paul is NOT a snake with moustaches, Paul briefed a press conference to announce that “I note a positive change of language from Pravind’s…”

Guys, to be continued in next episode and yes, I promise a full-length picture of this family drama…

Hello Guys!

September 19, 2006

Oh, i’m a bit shy or perhaps overwhelmed or what professional ‘weblokes’ will call as…’pathetically over-pregnant novel pseudo-idealist who thinks he’s going to change the world with some few rustive scribblings’…yeah, maybe it’s me! Maybe I’m not going to change the world (hmm…I mean, not now) but my words will perhaps change another second where it really matters. It’s not a really cool way to say a ‘hello’ post but it’s only an introduction, an invitation and yeah, an insight into the Mauritian way of policy. Here we talk about serious, damned serious MAURITIAN POLITICS…
